Buzz Inn Steakhouse - Ellensburg: Classic Steakhouse with Hearty Meals & Friendly Service

I'm staying at the Flying J for the weekend. This little gem is located just across the parking lot from the diesel fuel pumps. Got here on a Friday evening, and there was still truck parking available. Although the area looked a little sketchy, and the parking lot is full of potholes, I decided to stop. I pretty much went to sleep once I got there. In the morning, I took a shower and then ventured across the parking lot to this place for breakfast. I'm so glad that I did. My server was quick and attentive. She was fun and personable and made sure to chat with every customer who wanted to engage. My food was hot and plenty of it. For less than $20 I was able to enjoy a full breakfast and oodles of fresh coffee. I'm going back for dinner and maybe a drink or two this evening. It may look like a bit of a dive from the outside, but I assure you, once you enter, you will be pleasantly surprised.

Several beers on tap to choose from. Good service and great food. Stopped to get a burger, and ended up staying a while. A very comfortable, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend!

$11.50 for 3 tacos but they were delicious, the limes were dried out like they been cut and left out for a few days. I'd definitely recommend the tacos though Just pricey here but that's any restaurant nowadays.

Roxy is best bar tender here IMO. Menu pictures are current as well. Also Happy hour specials eat and a Seahawks menu during game time.

I travel between Olympia & Spokane several times a year and I always plan on eating a meal on the road & THIS is ALWAYS my go-to place. The atmosphere is fine, but the food & service are ALWAYS great! In all my stops, which are too many to count, I've never been disappointed.

The second we walked in on a Sunday night we felt at ease. Mellow Fleetwood’s playing not obnoxiously loud but enough to vibe to. Waitress got to us within a few minutes but didn’t pressure us to know what we were going to order right away. TVs were all on mute, we sat in a little nook. From where I sat I didn’t have to unscrew the light. I am neurodivergent and have sensory issues. Most restaurants these days have spot lights in your face but this one didn’t bother me. I even sat not facing the door without issue. I will let the Green Day slide, I was hooked with Stevie Nicks. Gen X approved. Service was attentive and prompt. Tara was excellent. Food was prepared perfectly. French Dip was great, grilled the bread so it wasn’t soggy. My burger was perfect. The flavor was very pleasant. We’ll be back next time we are up this way.

Walked in expecting trucker food. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The server highlighted the specials which I settled on the T bone steak special. Cooked well, tender, and great tasting.

Family style restaurant with homestyle food! Our waitress was extremely nice! We all enjoyed our food! I had the bacon wrapped shrimp with a side salad and loaded baked potato! A good spot to stop while traveling through Ellensburg.
